This knowledge base article provides instructions to load paper, envelopes, photo paper, or cards into the HP tango and tango X printers.
Note:- You have to avoid loading different types of paper inside the tray. Also, never load anything while your HP tango printer is printing.
[1] Load plain paper inside the tray of HP tango printers
- Firstly you need to open the lid.

- Next, you need to move the paper width guides to the edges of the input tray.

- Now load a paper stack inside the tray and slide it down until it stops.

Note:- After paper loading, ensure the selection of correct paper size and paper type settings while trying to print or copy.
- Next, slide the paper width guide until it reaches the edges of the paper stack.
- Finally, unfold the output tray or wrap.

[2] Loading of envelopes inside the tray
- Firstly you need to open the scanner lid.
- Now you need to move the paper width guides to the edges of the input tray.
- Now you have to load five envelopes with the printing side up inside the tray. Slide the envelopes downwards until it stops.
Note:- After envelopes loading, confirm the selection of correct envelope size and envelope type settings while trying to print or copy.
- Next, move the paper width guide until it contacts the edges of the paper stack.
- Finally, unfold the output tray or wrap.
[3] Loading of cards or photo paper inside the tray
- At first, you are supposed to open the lid.
- Next, you need to push the paper width guides to the boundaries of the input tray.
- Now load up to 15 cards or photo paper sheets inside the tray with the short edge down and the print side up and slide it down until it stops.
Note:- After photo paper or cards loading, ensure the selection of correct photo paper size and photo paper type settings while trying to print or copy.
- Next, skate the paper width guide until it contacts the edges of the paper stack.
- Ultimately, unfold the output tray or wrap.
